In The Life of a Virtuous Woman: One God Many Daughters....Weekend in review

This past weekend has brought me so much joy! I was reminded of my desire to be surrounded by like-minded women of God... to be in Godly fellowship. This is one of the reasons why we journeyed to Texas! The Women's Department of Mt. Rose COGIC, got together and successful put on our very first tailgating party! With our trucks circled around the lot, trunks opened and food flowing, history was made and it is just the beginning.The beginning of 2012 the torch was past from our first lady to two awesome young women who are now the leaders of this amazing department. They pulled off a great event and here's a seek peek of our fun, food and fellowship!

Sunday ended our weekend on a very powerful note. The women of Mt. Rose formed a mass choir in their white attire and green roses. There was also a video presentation about the women in the profession. (Once permission is granted, I will post it.) We had a high time in the Lord and the word was awesome. "Before and After" spoken by our very own was uplifting and reminded us that we have testimonies that can effect someone and will encourage them to know they also have a before and after testimony about the goodness and mercies of Jesus.Here's some pictures of our Sunday morning service.
